MORDRED

The dragon is traditionally seen as a great protector - entrusted to guard precious belongings, willing to sacrifice their lives just to protect their charge. Mordred is just such a fiercesome beast. He has bright eyes that are forever watchful and a forked tongue that can sense enemies from the furthest distance. His claws are sharp and can even pierce steel, his teeth are like razors and can slash through a tree trunk with just one bite. With the added advantage of his magnificent wings, the manoeuvrability of Mordred combined with the vitality that oozes out of every scale makes him the ideal dragon guardian. .
MOR LUNG

In Chinese symbolism the dragon represents everything that is powerful and strong. He is said to be the empowerment of a better life, prosperity and happiness. This is the most important dragon in Chinese folklore. Mor Tien, the pearl dragon. He is the wish fulfilling dragon. This dragon is the embodiment of ‘chi’ - luck. GRIFFON

The griffon is one of the most famous of mythical beasts. Documented since ancient times by the Phoenicians and Babylonians. Is this dragon sleeping? Who can tell? Do dragons ever sleep or do they just rest their heads for a few minutes? Don’t be fooled by appearances Morwenam is not asleep - dragons never sleep. However they do need to rest from time to time and that is what she’s doing. But have no fear the slightest move, the quietest sneeze, the flutter of a feather would soon disturb her rest.

PHOENIX

There is a bird that lays no eggs and has no young. Every few hundred years when it feels old and weak it flies to the mountains in the west where it nests on top of a palm tree. When its time comes, the rays of the sun burn it to ashes. Then from the ashes rises the phoenix, young, new and fresh. The phoenix is a symbol of rebirth and hope. One of the most famous of mythical beasts. The Lindworm looks like a Wyvern but without legs. They are thought to eat cattle and bodies and to invade churchyards. Lindworms are said to symbolise war and pestilence. Marco Polo reported seeing Lindworms on the steppes of central Asia.
